What Orgpuls AS collects about you, why, how long we keep it and who helps us. Last updated 26 September 2026.

Who is responsible

Orgpuls AS is the controller for the data described here: visits to the website, organisation signups, the newsletter, marketing and customer support. Send questions about privacy to hjelp@orgpuls.no.

When you visit the website

We keep our own statistics on the use of orgpuls.com, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. For each page view we store the page, the site you came from (the domain only), any campaign tags in the address (utm), an approximate location (country, region and city, derived from the IP address) and the network the IP address belongs to, cut to its first three of four parts (/24, or /48 for IPv6). The IP address itself and the browser's identification are not stored. They are used only to make a visit code that changes every day, so we can count visits within a day without being able to follow you from one day to the next.

If your browser asks not to be tracked (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track), nothing is sent. The statistics are deleted after 13 months. In addition, Vercel, which hosts the website, measures page views and load times without cookies. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used, GDPR Article 6(1)(f).

When you register an organisation

We store your name, e-mail address, password (only as a cryptographic hash), the organisation's name, organisation number and number of employees, and information we fetch from the Brønnøysund Register Centre. We also store where the signup came from: the first page and any campaign tags from the same day's visit statistics, and your answer if you tell us how you heard of us. The legal basis is the agreement with the organisation, Article 6(1)(b), and our legitimate interest in knowing which channels work, point (f).

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and e-mail address from Google. We never receive your password there.

Newsletter and e-mail about Orgpuls

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your e-mail address, your name and organisation if given, the lists you chose and when you confirmed. The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a). We record whether a mailing was delivered, opened or clicked, to learn what is useful. You can unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of every e-mail, or choose your lists again. After you unsubscribe we keep only a cryptographic hash of the address, so that we do not send to it again.

We may send e-mail about Orgpuls to organisations' role addresses (such as post@), on the basis of legitimate interest. Personal addresses receive e-mail from us only with consent, or when you are already a customer and have not opted out. Every e-mail has an unsubscribe link.

When you contact us

If you write to us, through the form or by e-mail, we store your name, e-mail address and what you write, to answer and follow up. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or the agreement if you are a customer.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the service needs to work: signing in, your language choice, display choices in the app, and a short-lived cookie that remembers the organisation while you sign up with Google. None is used for statistics or advertising.
