Can management see who answered what?

No. The answer is stored without name, e-mail address or IP address, and no group is shown until at least five have answered.

Does it cost me anything as safety representative?

No. The organisation pays for the subscription, and the safety representative has access at no extra cost.

What if management does not want to?

The mapping requirement applies whatever tool you use – Orgpuls is one way to meet it. If the organisation has a working environment committee, you can raise it there.

Safety representatives in the mapping: you see the same figures as management

As a safety representative you shall be consulted when the organisation maps the working environment and puts measures in place. For that you need access to the same basis as management – not a summary afterwards.

What you are entitled to

Section 6-2 of the Working Environment Act says the safety representative shall see to it that the employees' psychosocial working environment is safeguarded, and shall be consulted during the planning and implementation of measures that matter for the working environment. Section 1A-2 of the regulation on the performance of work also requires the mapping and risk assessment to be done together with the employees and their representatives.

When a department is not shown

When a small department is not shown, nothing is being hidden from you. The figure is not calculated for anyone. The answers still count in the whole, so no voice is lost. Read more about what anonymous means in an employee survey.

Questions we get often

The main rule in section 6-1 of the Working Environment Act is yes: a safety representative shall be elected in every organisation. Only organisations with fewer than five employees may agree in writing on another arrangement.
